Upon the 250th anniversary of the first published scientific description of Proteus, the Tular Cave Laboratory in partnership with the Škocjan Caves Park, Slovenia, we are cordially inviting you to attend

on April 14, 2018 at the Promotion and Congress centre of the Škocjan Caves Park, Slovenia.

Please, use the parking area at the Park’s Information Centre, and follow the designated path to the Promotion and Congress centre (5 min walking distance).

By plane
The closest airport is Trieste International Airport, located about 55 km SW of Park Škocjanske Jame. Ljubljana International Airport is located about 100 km north of Park Škocjanske Jame. Venice airport (Marco Polo) is located about 170 km SW of Park Škocjanske Jame.
Shuttles are connecting very well airports and train stations to the location of the meeting. You can book affordable shuttles here: https://www.goopti.com/en/. Rent-a-car services are available also at the airports.

By car
If you are arriving by motorway from Koper, take the Divača exit. On the regional road turn right, drive for a kilometre and turn left at the intersection in the direction of Škocjan. After driving one kilometre, turn left at the road sign for the village of Matavun towards the Park's Information Centre.
If you are coming from Ljubljana, follow the signs for Koper. Turn off the motorway at the Divača exit. On the regional road turn right, drive for a kilometre and turn left at the intersection in the direction of Škocjan. After driving one kilometre, turn left at the road sign for the village of Matavun towards the Park's Information Centre.
